Taste of ItalyDec 11, 2009 This Panforte brings back memories of our recent trip to Italy. This is not "just a fruitcake", it is a confection, no, a , I don't know. I will tell you this, a small slice of this, with a good cup of coffee, and you shall be in heaven. This is a must have!!!! I am so happy that Amazon carries this product, this is virtually impossible to buy "retail". Thanks so much!!!!!!!
Love it!Nov 04, 2009 I am delighted that I can order Panforte through Amazon and this is my second order that was processed with the usual efficiency. My little taste of Italy in the Tropics
PanforteSep 25, 2009 Panforte Margerita made by Sapori, bring memories back to my childhood.
My father alway bought it for Christmas.
Now I can get it all year round.
Yum Yum Yum!Aug 22, 2009 All I can say is, I wish I could give it more than just five stars. Don't think "fruitcake." This is like chewy...hmm...not sure what I'd call it. Confection? Yes, that's as close as I can come to describing it. Loaded with almonds and candied fruit. Solid and difficult to slice, but not hard to chew. And reeeeally good! Give it a try if you love almonds and candied fruit. I got my first one in Siena, Italy and having the opportunity to buy it through Amazon is like reliving a wonderful Italian trip.
OK, but I've had betterAug 06, 2009 Although this panforte margerita was good, the one made by Fiore is much better. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find it in the US.
