Chestnut Flour For BakingFeb 26, 2010 I have to maintain a gluten free diet and am always looking for alternative flours to use in my baked goods. I ordered the Chestnut Flour to use in cookies and breads along with the other special flours I have to use. I use just a small amount of the Chestnut Flour in the recipes and it really gives you a nice nutty flavor.

Excellent!May 10, 2009 Chestnut flour aka farina di castagne is a flour made from dried ground chestnuts that grow near Rome, Italy. It is very finely ground and makes delicious bread. It also combines well with nuts. Add this delightful flour to your dough and bread recipes and enjoy.
